Some places just make sense.

The Brass Eye is one of those for Jackie and Cody. It’s where they’ve gone for date nights, and you can feel that right away. Nothing felt forced, nothing felt overly posed. It just fit them.

When couples choose a place that already means something to them, everything shifts. You don’t have to work so hard to create a vibe because it’s already there. You just step into it and let it unfold!

This session felt like that the entire time.

A little moody, a little editorial, but still really natural. The kind of gallery that feels elevated without losing that relaxed, real energy. My FAVORITE balance. 🙂

And The Brass Eye… stunning!!

It was also a gorgeous day, so of course we took some city photos outside as well.

If you’re planning an engagement session in Columbus, Ohio, this is exactly why I always suggest choosing somewhere personal. Not just somewhere that looks good, but somewhere that feels like you + your significant other!
