Caroline and Isaac’s wedding was a celebration of classic elegance and heartfelt joy, set in the heart of Dayton, Ohio. From a meaningful church ceremony to golden hour portraits at Cox Arboretum, and a lively reception at the historic Piqua Plaza, their day was a perfect reflection of timeless love.

The morning began in Dayton at a beautiful church where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends. After the ceremony, we made our way to Cox Arboretum MetroPark for family formals and romantic portraits. The gardens at Cox offered a serene escape, with lush greenery, flowering trees, and soft natural light—creating the dreamiest setting for post-ceremony photos. Caroline looked radiant in her off-the-shoulder floral lace gown, while Isaac’s classic black suit brought a polished, timeless contrast.

From there, the celebration moved north to Piqua Plaza, one of the most stunning historic wedding venues near Dayton. With its soaring arched ceilings, vintage chandeliers, and rich architectural details, Piqua Plaza is a dream for couples looking for a historic wedding venue in Ohio. The ballroom exuded old-world charm, offering an elegant space for dinner, dancing, and heartfelt moments.

The reception was full of energy—guests packed the dance floor, toasts were given with tears and laughter, and Caroline and Isaac shared their first dance beneath the grand chandelier. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated—from the floral centerpieces to the candid Polaroids captured throughout the day, and even a slice of wedding cake artfully placed beside their rings.

As Dayton wedding photographers, we love when a wedding day feels personal and classic, and Caroline and Isaac’s celebration was exactly that. The blend of a meaningful church ceremony, garden portraits at Cox Arboretum, and a sophisticated Piqua Plaza wedding reception was nothing short of magical.

Whether you’re planning a Dayton, Ohio wedding, dreaming of portraits at Cox Arboretum, or looking for a timeless Ohio wedding venue like Piqua Plaza, Caroline and Isaac’s day is the perfect inspiration for a celebration filled with elegance, joy, and lasting memories.

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT the pullins

Specializing in telling your love story. We believe your love is a beautiful story deserving of being told, but there's a reason why... and it's personal

Ken + Karina Pullin. That's us. We eloped in 2020 in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. That meant an empty courthouse, no dress, no photographer, and no story told. That's the reason we are so passionate about what we do. It's a feeling opposite of what anyone should feel. That feeling is what makes us passionate about making sure your love story is told and preserved forever.
